Dear Nikky and Ken
Thank you so much for the lovely phone call last week—I really felt it was a great start. It’s clear that you know exactly what you’re looking for in a photographer, and I definitely felt we shared a few important values and ideas.
Nigel has always been a great supporter of my work, but even more so of
how I approach working with my couples.
Knowing that Billy will be doing your ceremony, just as he did ours, makes me feel even more connected to your vision and the atmosphere you’re hoping to create for your wedding celebration.
I loved hearing you say you’re looking for a “not anti-wedding photography style.”
You’re right — there’s a trend that leans away from traditional wedding coverage, often driven by
high-end publications wanting something edgy or editorial.
My editing is soft and natural, and my entire approach is shaped around what you want,
not a current trend or gimmick. These photos grow in meaning as life moves forward,
and my goal is to make them truly reflect your day in a timeless way.
In my opinion, the idea of a first look before your celebration officially begins is a beautiful one.
It allows for an intimate moment between the two of you, creates space for calm and connection,
and means you can enjoy your reception uninterrupted.
It’s also a wonderful opportunity to include the kids—they can be part of that special moment and then simply enjoy the celebration without too much disruption.

I’ll then prepare the contract for both of you to sign. Once the booking fee is paid, your date is secured, and we’ll begin this exciting journey together.
My service includes a pre-wedding visit to Gloster House (with a mini shoot).
I’ll also help you shape your timeline so we can make the most of the celebration.

Much of this comes down to full and easy communication with you, and partnering with your planner to coordinate as needed. I’ll build an organic photography timeline that is conducive to your experience, enhancing each moment rather than taking away from your enjoyment.
